Please note that students who join our free Coding Bootcamp Prep course after September 4th, 2018, will not have to worry about GitHub.com. We will teach you more about the platform and its usability as you join us in our paid programs. If you fall under this category and are having issues with opening a lab, please email email@example.com for assistance.
The first thing you'll want to do is check Github's status at https://status.github.com/. If GitHub is down or backed up wait until GitHub is back in full working order before continuing to trouble shot.
If GitHub's status is good, then what most likely happened was the Learn servers somehow missed the pull request (PR) event. To fix this, we need to re-PR the lab:
- Open your lab on GitHub
- Open the repo that your lab was forked from
- Click on the tab for all the open PRs (if there are a lot of PRs, you might want to add a search term author:<your-github-name>)
- Click on your PR and close it.
- Go back to your copy of the lab and click on the Create PR button, fill out a message, and create the PR!
