Why is the Learn community on Slack?

We use Slack as our community tool for a couple of reasons:

  1. Slack is a great product and a real tool. You’ll most likely be using Slack in your career, and Learn is focused on teaching you to code and communicate using real tools.
  2. Slack has a great mobile app, so this way you can chat with other Learners from your phone.
  3. A lot of you already have Slack accounts that you interface with, and you know and love the application.
