You'll find a setting for background & text colors that can be set to your preference through Learn IDE 3 > Preferences > Packages > learn-ide-3 . To change font size, see this Help Center Article.

With the latest version of the IDE*, you can now customize your Learn IDE terminal colors and import themes from! You’ll find hundreds of different styles to choose from. Check out this gif to see how make your terminal (dot) sexy. In addition to styling your terminal, you can also use custom fonts to suit your coding style.

If you are using the downloaded version of the IDE, get the latest version by deleting your current version and then reinstalling the IDE.

* Note: The Windows version of the Learn IDE does not currently include this ability to change terminal color.
